​Lifestyle Programs

Do you want to be more active, enjoy healthy food, cope with stress and manage your weight?

Throughout the year the YMCA in conjunction with external community groups and government department mange many different lifestyle programs. Some of our past programs included Healthy Exercise Lifestyle, Steady on your Feet, Heart Foundation Walking Groups and Living Well with Illness.

The next lifestyle program is:

Combat Type-2 Diabetes
  • New classes starting in the new year
  • Day and night sessions available
  • Classes are fun educational and practical
  • You will learn the most up-to-date techniques for improving diabetic outcomes
  • Classes are conducted in a private air conditioned room by Kim Gaffney, an experienced Exercise Physiologist and Diabetes Counsellor
  • Medicare supported program.
